JAMES UNDERWOOD

James is the founder and lead physiotherapist at JU Physiotherapy. He graduated from Oxford Brookes University in 2014 and brings over a decade of hands-on clinical experience. With a background in sports injury rehabilitation and musculoskeletal physiotherapy, James has worked with a wide range of clients—from professional athletes to everyday individuals managing chronic pain or recovering from surgery. His approach combines evidence-based techniques with personalised treatment plans that focus on long-term results, not just quick fixes.

Known for his calm, empathetic nature and commitment to ongoing professional development, James ensures every client at JU Physiotherapy receives the highest standard of care. Whether you’re overcoming an injury, enhancing performance, or simply striving for better mobility, James is here to guide you every step of the way.

ASHLEY HALSEY

Ashley is a dedicated and compassionate physiotherapist specialising in the rehabilitation of patients with spinal cord injuries and brain injuries. With a 10-year background in physiotherapy, her expertise in managing complex cases and coordinating multidisciplinary teams has been instrumental in helping patients regain their mobility and improve their quality of life.

With experience of working closely with a team of skilled professionals, including occupational therapists, speech therapists, and neurologists, Ashley provides comprehensive care tailored to the unique needs of each patient. By utilising the latest techniques and evidence-based practices, she helps patients achieve their rehabilitation goals and supports them throughout their recovery journey.

In addition to clinical work, Ashley is actively involved in research and continuous professional development, staying up-to-date with advancements in the field of neuro rehabilitation. This dedication to lifelong learning ensures that her patients benefit from the most current and effective treatment methods available.
