MEET THE TEAM
JAMES UNDERWOOD
I'm a fully qualified musculoskeletal (MSK) physiotherapist, providing mobile physiotherapy services around Woburn, Milton Keynes, Bedford, Leighton Buzzard and surrounding villages. I founded JU Physiotherapy with the aim of providing affordable, quality and personalised care to those struggling with pain, mobility and balance issues. With a mobile physiotherapy service, there is no need for you to travel and I will see you in the comfort of your own home.
I graduated with a first-class Bachelor of Science honours degree in Physiotherapy at Oxford Brookes University in 2014. Since qualifying as a physiotherapist, I have worked in primary and secondary MSK healthcare services in the NHS at Milton Keynes University and Bedford Hospitals and GP surgeries. I also have several years experience working with sports teams, primarily in rugby and football.
Through my training and experience, I have managed patients with sport injuries, post-operative joint replacements and surgeries, rheumatology patients, patients suffering with chronic pain conditions, such as fibromyalgia, and elderly patients with balance issues.
I am registered with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC) and Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) and I am DBS checked. I am also partnered with private medical insurers AXA and Aviva, offering appointments through your private medical cover.
